Oil, Stock Prices Rise Monday

Oil and stock market prices made strong gains Monday, recovering some of the value they lost as oil prices plunged 70 percent during the past year-and-a-half. In afternoon trading, U.S. stocks rose 1.4 percent or more. In Europe, by the close of trading, key indexes were up 1.5 percent or more.
