Swedish Minister Vows to Curb Refugee Flows in 2016

Sweden's Migration Agency said on Thursday it expected up to 140,000 asylum seekers in 2016 but the government said it would not allow numbers to get anywhere near that, and vowed to introduce further measures to curb the influx if needed. Sweden took in 163,000 asylum seekers last year, twice the previous record set during the Balkan wars of the 1990s.
