Cambodian Immigrant Aims to Make History in Taiwan Election

A record number of candidates are running in Taiwan’s legislative elections on Saturday, the same day voters will choose a new president. Among them is one candidate, born in Cambodia, who is poised to make history by possibly becoming the island’s first immigrant lawmaker. VOA’s Bill Ide has more on her story from Taiwan’s central city of Changhua.
