Disco-era Film and Music Producer Robert Stigwood Dies at 81

Show business impresario Robert Stigwood, whose productions defined an entire era of entertainment, died in London at age 81. His office did not give a cause of death Tuesday. The Australian-born Stigwood managed the British rock group Cream and its legendary lead guitarist, Eric Clapton.
