Shooting in Dagestan Kills Tourist, Injures 11 Others

At least one person was killed and 11 others injured in a shooting incident involving a group of tourists in Russia's volatile southern republic of Dagestan. The shooting late Tuesday took place at a historic fortress where some local tourists were standing on a viewing platform. News reports said the tourists were injured when a barrage of bullets was fired from the woods. Twelve were injured in the attack and one later died of his wounds.
