Former Israeli PM Olmert Sentenced to 18 Months in Bribery Case

Israel’s Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will serve 18 months in prison, instead of six years, in connection with a 2014 bribery conviction. Olmert has denied any wrongdoing and the court agreed to the sentence reduction after he appealed the original verdict.
