South African Court Changes Pistorius Conviction to Murder

South Africa's Supreme Court has convicted double amputee athlete Oscar Pistorius of murder, overturning his earlier conviction of culpable homicide, a less serious charge. The court announced its ruling Thursday in the case against the Olympic star, who was convicted last year of the 2013 shooting death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
