Antibiotic Apocalypse’ A Step Closer

Scientists are warning that the so-called ‘Antibiotic Apocalypse’ is a step closer, after bacteria were discovered in China that have developed resistance to all known antibiotic medicines. The report – published in the medical journal The Lancet – has prompted Chinese authorities to consider banning the use of some antibiotics in animals.
