Admitting Syrian Refugees Fiercely Debated in US

A political firestorm has erupted in the United States over the admittance of Syrian refugees in light of last week’s deadly terrorist attacks in Paris. VOA’s Michael Bowman reports from Capitol Hill, where many Republicans are questioning or rejecting President Barack Obama’s plan to admit 10,000 Syrian asylum-seekers, while Democrats say America must remain open to refugees, once thoroughly screened.
