Senate Approves 2-Year Budget Deal, Sends Bill to Obama

The U.S. Senate passed legislation early Friday that will keep Washington’s chronic fiscal battles at bay through next year’s elections and beyond.  The legislation will now go to President Barack Obama to be signed into law. The Senate approved the bill by a vote of 64-35 shortly after 2:30 in the morning.
