Eaton of US Breaks Decathlon Record in Beijing

Ashley Eaton of the United States broke his own record in the decathlon at the 2015 world championships in Beijing Saturday.   Eaton, the Olympic champion in the event, finished with 9,045 points after running 4 minutes, 17.52 seconds in the 1,500 meters race, the last of the 10 decathlon events.
