Twitter Sets Goals for Increasing Workforce Diversity

Social media giant Twitter is setting modest goals to increase the number of female employees at the company from 34 percent to 35 percent by the end of next year. The company released the hiring targets Friday with data showing that Twitter, like most other major U.S. tech companies, employs primarily white and Asian men.
