28 Killed in Boko Haram Attacks in NE Nigeria

Boko Haram extremists killed 28 people during attacks on remote farming and fishing villages in northeast Nigeria, members of a civilian defense group said Friday. Twenty-four people were killed in an attack Tuesday night in Marfunudi, village resident Abubakar Jojo said. The town is roughly 50 miles from the Borno state capital of Maiduguri.
