Asia Markets Fall Sharply

Key Asian stock markets are down sharply Monday, continuing a global slide that saw U.S. markets drop 3 percent at the close Friday. Japan's Nikkei dropped more than 3 percent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell nearly 5 percent hours before Monday's close. Other markets in the Pacific region were also down sharply.
