UN Security Council Expected to Approve Iran Nuclear Deal

The U.N. Security Council is expected to give its approval Monday to the agreement Iran and a group of six world powers struck last week to limit the Iranian nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. The 15-member Council is voting Monday morning, and since the five permanent, veto-holding Council members are signatories to the agreement, the resolution is almost certain to be adopted.
