S. Africa's Tutu Hospitalized for Treatment of Infection

Retired South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu has been admitted to a Cape Town hospital for treatment of what's being called a "persistent infection." Tutu’s family expects he will be released in the next day or two, his daughter, Mpho Tutu, said in a statement released Tuesday. Tutu has been treated for prostate cancer for many years. Tutu, 83, won the 1984 Nobel Peace Prize for his opposition to white minority rule in South Africa, which ended a decade later. ...
