Afghan Violence Leaves 2 Civilians Dead, 63 Wounded

A suicide car bomber Tuesday attacked a provincial police headquarters in southern Afghanistan, killing at least two people and wounding more than 51 others. Officials say almost all of the victims were civilians, including women and children. The attack happened in Lashkargah, the capital of Helmand province.
