US Confederate Flag, Memorabilia Under Fire in Wake of Racial Killings

Calls for removing the Confederate flag from public places have spread from South Carolina to other southern U.S. states in the wake of racially motivated killings of nine people in an African American church. Several retailers have announced plans to stop selling the Confederate flags and products with the flag emblem on them. As Zlatica Hoke reports, South Carolina lawmakers have made a first step toward removing the controversial flag from the state Capitol grounds in Columbia.
