Oysters Make Comeback in New York's Great South Bay

The Blue Point oyster which originates in Long Island’s Great South Bay, about 60 kilometers (40 miles) from New York City, is making a comeback after almost disappearing from the world marketplace. Over-farming, pollution and then Superstorm Sandy destroyed the Blue Point oyster business. It has taken initiative and risk to bring the well-known mollusk back. VOA’s Bernard Shusman reports on this comeback from East Islip, New York.
