Oman Accepts Six Guantanamo Detainees

Oman has accepted for resettlement six Yemeni men who were detainees at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay. The men arrived in Oman Saturday. The U.S. Defense Department issued a statement saying it is "grateful to the Government of Oman for its humanitarian gesture and willingness to support ongoing U.S. efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility."
