Afghanistan Wins Cricket World Cup Match for First Time

Afghanistan defeated Scotland on Thursday to score its maiden Cricket World Cup victory in Dunedin, New Zealand. The dramatic one-wicket win in the Pool A clash was made possible by Samiullah Shenwari's brilliant batting. He scored 96 runs to help the Afghan team chase Scotland's target of 211 runs in 50 overs.
