Japan Official in Jordan, Seeking Hostage's Release

Japan's deputy foreign minister, dispatched to Jordan to oversee efforts to reclaim a Japanese hostage held by the Islamic State extremist group, said the government is working 24 hours a day to reclaim its countryman.
