Haiti Still Struggling 5 Years After Earthquake

Monday marks the fifth anniversary of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in 2010. The 7.0-magnitude quake on January 12, 2010, killed more than 200,000 people in what has been called one of the worst natural disasters of modern times. More than 1 million people were left homeless, forcing them to sleep in make-do facilities, often a tent crafted out of a tarp, cardboard or tin.
