Last French Hostage Freed by Al-Qaida's North African Arm

The last remaining French hostage in the world, who has been held since 2011 by Al-Qaida's north African arm, has been released, President Francois Hollande said on Tuesday. Serge Lazarevic was held in the Sahara by AQIM for almost three years since being kidnapped in northern Mali in November 2011.
