Ferguson – A divided community

The shooting death of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri led to protests and violence earlier this year that made headlines around the world. Blacks in the neighborhood blamed racism for the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown. Many white residents of Ferguson blame the media for what they call a twisted picture of their diverse town. As VOA’s Ayesha Tanzeem reports the picture is mixed, and looks different from different angles.
