Al-Shabab Claims Responsibility for Somalia Bombing

A suicide car bombing southwest of Somalia's capital has killed at least 12 people and injured 27 others. Islamist militant group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the blast, which happened Monday about 20 kilometers southwest of Mogadishu. Witnesses say a car filled with explosives rammed a vehicle belonging to the AU force AMISOM, sparking a heavy explosion. The blast hit two civilian passenger buses that were passing by.
