Despite Violence, Philippine Workers Stay in Libya

Most Philippine workers in Libya are staying in the war-torn country, despite Manila ordering them to leave. The workers say they are afraid of losing their jobs. The Philippine foreign secretary says of an estimated 13,000 Philippine citizens in Libya, only 1,700 are signed up to be evacuated.
