Al-Shabab Commanders Killed Near Mogadishu

African Union security forces say they killed two senior al-Shabab commanders during a joint operation with Somali troops in a region north of Mogadishu. The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) said Friday that Issa Mohamed Dhoore and Sharif Ameey were killed during an offensive in a village about 200 kilometers from the capital.
