Strong Earthquake Rocks Guatemala, Southern Mexico

A strong earthquake has rocked Guatemala and southern Mexico, causing cracks in buildings, triggering landslides and resulting in at least two deaths in Guatemala. The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 7.1 earthquake was centered 92 kilometers below the surface on the Pacific Coast about eight kilometers northeast of Puerto Madero, Mexico, near the Guatemala border.
