S. Sudan Refugee Camp’s Harsh Conditions Blamed in Deaths

An aid group is warning of "catastrophic" conditions at a United Nations base in South Sudan where more than 40,000 people have taken refuge from rampant violence.   Doctors Without Borders reports that at least three children under age 5 are dying each day at the base in Bentiu.   The group says most deaths are caused by acute diarrhea, pneumonia or malnutrition -- all linked to harsh living conditions, especially a lack of clean water.   Flooding and violence...
