Egypt Wants Greater Monitoring of Bloggers, Social Media

Mahmoud Salem knows about the costs of blogging in Egypt.   Three years ago, amid the uprising against then-President Hosni Mubarak, Salem’s “Rantings of a Sandmonkey” blog was a popular site for pro-democracy advocates.
