Report: 500,000 Flee Islamist-Seized Iraqi City

The International Organization for Migration says fears of further violence in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul caused 500,000 people to flee their homes as Islamist fighters took control of the city.   The IOM said Wednesday the displaced have either moved within Mosul or fled to other parts of Ninevah province or the neighboring Kurdish province of Irbil.   The group said the Iraqi government and private organizations are working to provide aid, but the humanitarian situation...
