US House Passes Bill to Curb NSA's Collection of Phone Records

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed legislation to curb the National Security Agency's bulk collection of Americans' phone records. Supporters say the USA Freedom Act strikes a balance between protecting privacy and safeguarding national security. Critics say the legislation’s reforms have been “watered down.”   Thursday's House vote passing the USA Freedom Act was 303-121, and did not play out along the usual Republican versus Democratic Party lines....
