June Runoff Vote to Decide Afghan Presidential Election

Afghanistan's presidential election is heading to a runoff vote on June 14, after no candidate earned an absolute majority in the first round.   The Afghan election commission said Thursday that final results from last month's election showed former foreign minister Abdullah Abdullah winning 45 percent of the vote.
