Fighting Erupts in Eastern Ukraine

Fighting broke out Friday around Slovyansk, a rebel-held city in eastern Ukraine. Pro-Russian separatists in the city said on Friday Ukrainian forces had launched a “large-scale operation” to retake the town and one military helicopter had been shot down.
