Le Secrétaire général des Nations Unies, Ban Ki-moon, a annoncé jeudi la nomination de Mme Hiroute Guebre Sellassie, de l'Éthiopie, comme sa nouvelle Envoyée spéciale et Chef du Bureau pour le Sahel. Elle succèdera à Romano Prodi, de l'Italie, qui a achevé sa mission le 31 janvier 2014.
