Israel Observes Holocaust Remembrance Day

Israel came to a standstill Monday morning as the nation took time to remember the six million Jews who died in the Holocaust during World War II. Sirens sounded for two minutes across the nation, stopping traffic and pedestrians. Many people stepped out of their vehicles and stood in silence.
