Kerry: Military Drills Should Not be Linked to Korean Family Reunions

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and his South Korean counterpart say they will go forward with joint military drills this month despite North Korean demands that they be delayed or canceled. Speaking in Seoul after a meeting with Yun Byung-sen Thursday, Kerry said the annual exercises should not be linked to humanitarian issues such as reunions for families separated since the Korean War.
