Japan's Abe to Visit Controversial War Shrine

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plans to visit a World War II era Shinto shrine that many of Japan's neighbors see as a symbol of its militaristic past.   The prime minister's office says  Abe will visit the Yasukuni Shrine on Thursday, exactly one year after he ascended to Japan's top political post.   That action is certain to provoke outrage in China and South Korea, which were among the main victims of Japan's imperialist era.   Yasukuni...
