Four French Hostages in Niger Released

Four French hostages kidnapped in Niger by an al-Qaida-linked group have been released after more than three years in captivity. French President Francois Hollande announced the hostages' release while on a visit to Slovakia Tuesday.  Niger's Foreign Minister Mohamed Bazoum confirmed their release to VOA and said he was headed to the airport in Niger's capital, Niamey, to greet the four men.
