Typhoon Wipha Kills At Least 7 in Japan

A powerful typhoon is moving up Japan's Pacific coastline, bringing heavy wind, strong rain and causing mudslides that have killed at least seven people. Typhoon Wipha, which is packing winds of up to 180 kilometers per hour, did its worst damage on Izu Oshima island, south of Tokyo. Officials say at least 38 people there are missing after several houses were destroyed or swept away in mudslides.
