Amnesty Urges Nigerian Military Detainee Death Probe

Rights group Amnesty International is calling on Nigeria to investigate the alleged deaths of hundreds of detainees at centers run by the country's military. In a statement Tuesday, Amnesty said that according to "credible information" it received from a senior Nigerian Army officer, more than 950 detainees died in the first half of this year.
