4 Killed in Philippines Earthquake

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck in the central Philippines Tuesday morning, killing at least four people and damaging buildings. The quake was centered 56 kilometers deep on Bohol Island, across the strait from Cebu, a popular tourist area. The regional governor said several buildings were damaged, including a church and the city hall. Earthquakes are common in the Philippines, which lies along the Pacific ``Rim of Fire.''
