FORTALEZA, Brazil, 14 October 2013 – “I still remember years ago the moment that it really struck me how bad the situation was,” recalls Anamaria Cavalcante. “I was working as a paediatrician in the neonatal unit of the Albert Sabin State Children’s Hospital here in Fortaleza.
