Argentine President Released After Brain Surgery

Argentina's President Cristina Fernandez has left the hospital five days after having surgery to remove a blood clot on her brain caused by a fall two months ago. Her spokesman said Ms. Fernandez is recovering well and is "in excellent spirits.'' The doctors have ordered the 60-year-old president to rest for 30 days, which means she will be unable to campaign for the legislative elections on October 27.
