White House: No Agreement in Talks on Government Shutdown, Debt Limit

The White House says there is still no agreement with Republicans in Congress on a possible solution to end the partial U.S. government shutdown and avert a government debt default. Obama met with Senate Republicans, and late Friday he called Republican House Speaker John Boehner to discuss where negotiations stand.
