A court in the Baku district of Sabayil released Mehman Huseynov provisionally on the evening of 13 June but ordered him tried on charges of hooliganism and resisting the authorities under article 221.2.2 of the criminal code. The charges carry a possible five-year jail term. These are more serious that the charges originally cited.
