Ayatollah Boroujerdi's Open Letter to the UN Human Rights Council

Tehran (Iran) — In an appeal addressed to the President and Members of the UN Human Rights Council, the dissident Iranian cleric Ayatollah Hossein Kazemeyni Boroujerdi has called on the United Nations and its relevant organs “to investigate the abuses taking place in Iran and the Middle East as a consequence of intervention of religion into politics thus paving the way for the passage of a resolution supporting the separation of state from religion.”
