Benin has declared a week of mourning for former President Mathieu Kerekou, who died Wednesday at age 82. No cause of death was announced. The International Criminal Court on Friday  upheld its acquittal of Congolese militia leader Mathieu Ngudjolo, two years after finding him not guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity. At least five journalists have been the victims of physical or verbal attacks in the past month in Petit-Goâve, a coastal town 65 km west of Port-au-Prince.
