Rome - After the motions sent to the European Institutions in 2006, 2008 and 2010, which have been taken up and supported by major organizations for homosexual rights, EveryOne Group has sent a new letter to the political institutions of the European Union – Parliament, Commission and Council – asking them for a serious debate, and to approve a Directive on civil unions between same-sex couples, rights for LGBT couples and programmes for the younger generations teaching awareness and respect for all forms of sexual orientation. For five years now there has been no news about Gilad Shalit, the young Israeli corporal who was kidnapped on June 25th, 2006 by fundamentalists from Hamas when he was just 19 years old.
